...a home, a team, and a sanctuary for stray and abandon cats slowly forms on the second day. No blueprint on how to bring it all together, just two women working together to create something out of nothing.
This photo is called the 'vertical dilemma' because someone prior to me living there removed the main support post to place their car in the pole barn.
Once that was in place, the next step was to create a frame for the screen door. Well, the hand made frame someone gave me had no screening. It was funny to try and place it in the future doorway saying here is where the screen door fits.
The above photo was another problem, one of many, that we were able to work around. Why were these PVC pipes there? After looking at it, we figured it was a water source that must have been used inside the pole barn. So using scrap pieces of wood a protection barrier was created. Pretty good I think-imagination works wonders in time of need.
The front of the pole barn was framed, a doorway was created and a water PVC pipes were protected. Three other sides of the barn to do within the next few days before my co-creator has to go back home.
